All of your edited images are delivered via a beautiful online private and permanent gallery. From there you can download, order prints and albums, create a collection and share with friends. We don’t promise any set number of images, as we don’t believe quantity necessarily means quality. However, as a rough guide we usually give about 700+ for the full day package.

Ideally we try to guide our couples to do them afterwards. The light is always better, so you look better and you’ll be more relaxed. Your dress, make up and hair will look perfect for your ceremony, not always so after being on mountains adventuring with Jim! It’s also your opportunity to escape, to be away alone as a married couple for the first time somewhere beautiful.

Yes and no, we really urge our couples to treat heading off for photos as an enjoyable and relaxing part of the wedding day. To avoid feeling rushed we recommend at least 30 minutes.

Typically Jim covers most weddings by himself. He's a bit of a Ninja and gets all angles without being obtrusive and in the way. But should you want more coverage, we do offer Vicky as a 2nd shooter option, she is also an awesome and experienced photographer,

No, well a little! Once Jim feels like he’s got a really good representation of the awesomeness going on, he’ll leave you all in peace. We know it’s not ideal having a camera in your face when you’re trying to let your hair down and get on it.

We try to ensure that each wedding portrait shoot is unique to each couple. It makes it much more special for you and gets Jim's creative juices flowing.
Jim thrives on scouting to find you the location that fits perfectly, both from a time perspective and for the aesthetics. We firmly believe you work hard to create an individual wedding and that’s how we feel about your wedding photos too.

It’s not a worry! That’s why you hired a team with a love for scouting locations and thinking on their feet. You’ll get beautiful shots regardless of the weather. In fact, often our best work happens when its ‘atmospheric’. It all comes down to being positive and being prepared to make the most of any weather!

About 6/8 weeks after your wedding day (if not before), you’ll get a link first to your slideshow and then soon after to your personal gallery to view and download your images. Also we aim to get at least one image to you a few days after your big day.

Absolutely!!! We are based in Canterbury, but Jim loves to travel domestically and internationally, we’ve shot weddings all over NZ, Asia, USA, Australia and Europe.

Jim wants to capture you interacting with each other naturally. Now we know that’s not easy with a camera in your face! So Jim will certainly help guide you and your wedding party, but at the end of the day it’s all about you guys being yourselves.

To confirm we require a 30% booking fee, and a signed copy of our Contract. The remainder is to be paid 30 days prior to the wedding day.
